Santos named as DDSPB2 player of the Week

Arwind Santos added another hardware to its collection after bagging the DDSPB2 Player of the Week that spanned from Oct 31- Nov 7. Santos and the Mixers are on a sizzling start to their campaign for a PBAsim title.
Playing under two coaches in 3 games, Santos manage to become one of the Mixers top weapon that also include Sunday Salvacion, Wynne Arboleda and Jojo Tangkay. He averages around 21ppg 8rpg 2assist 2stls and 2blocks per game.
The game against the Powerade Tigers, Santos scored 27 points along with 6 rebounds 4 steals and 2 blocks. Although originaly listed as Power Forward, the versatile bigman from Pampanga actually playing the Shooting Guard position in their last 3 games.
"We have him played the number 2 spot because we feel, he has advantage over the guards in the league, because of his heights and athletism, moreover we need him to play defense because in this league Shooting guards are all waxing hot" said Head Coach Luigi Trillo.
Trillo also took over the Headcoaching job after Coach Rodesendo Gomez resigned his position because of medical reasons.
