1.Allein Maliksi - The Beermen are on a rebuilding route and what a way to start that by winning the lottery. They only have 2 players in live contract in C/PF Rob Reyes and PG Chris Pacana. Reyes is probably for keep so one position is already filled in. Now, they could bring in their Main man with this pick and by the looks of it, they have to address the need of a go to guy first. Allein Maliksi could be a handy pick as he not only brings his athletic ability to the team but his offensive repertoire which could end up as the best in this class. 2.Chris Lutz - Powerade has been vocal about keeping Pingris, which goes to show how they fancied defensive players. Chris Lutz is arguably the best overall talent in the Draft and his defensive ability is also one of the best as well. Therefore, this could be a perfect fit here. 3.Jervy Cruz - with Maliksi in as their #1 option offensively, Cruz as the secondary option could be designed very well.This could be a deadly one-two punch for the revitalized Beermen. Cruz should compliment Reyes' game as well. 4.David Pennisi - Purefoods needs a starting caliber center and David Pennisi is not just a starter quality but could be a dominant force inside if given ample amount of exposure. 5.Chris Ross - The Road Warriors had to put rookie Gabe Norwood at PG the entire 2008 season because they lack a quality point. That won't be the case this time, if they can get their hands on one of the better point guards in this class. Besides, Ross molds is perfect for GM Jelmer's no non sense defensive approach system. 6.Rico Maierhoffer - Blackwater needs a PF, if you look at their roster. Maierhoffer falling to them should be a win-win situation to them. 7.Josh Urbiztondo - Tropang Texters' starting 5 is all set so their primary concern should be their bench production. Urbiztondo could be the steal of the Draft if he fall this low. 8.Bryan Faundo - Another able body inside as a replacement for the aging Adducul.
